Parker stands out as a high-floor option. While his draft stock has taken a hit after a disappointing 2025 season, Parker's combination of size, speed, and power makes him an intriguing prospect. In my opinion, Parker's strengths lie in his get-off and burst, allowing him to quickly blow up plays and present a threat to win around the corner. His speed-to-power game is a unique asset that can translate to any defense, and his ability to set the edge and crush the pocket aligns perfectly with the Chiefs' scheme. However, Parker's lack of bend and limited pass-rush moves could be a concern. He needs to develop more counter moves to keep tackles honest and maximize his potential. Despite these limitations, I believe Parker's floor is higher than many realize. With the right coaching and development, he could become a quality starter who gets around 5-6 sacks a season. While I still prefer drafting one of the top defensive ends at pick No. 9, the Chiefs could secure a good starter in Parker with the No. 29 pick. His combination of length, density, and explosiveness makes him a solid option, and his upside is certainly worth exploring. Personally, I think Parker's draft stock is being underestimated, and he could be a hidden gem for the Chiefs. With the right support and coaching, he has the potential to become a reliable and effective defensive end, providing the team with a much-needed boost on the defensive line.
