Student Ministry Update 9.18.17

Hey there!

What a busy week it’s been! I hope you’ve stayed safe as we all jump back into our routines after Hurricane Irma.

On September 10th we watched “The Shack” as a group with other members of our church family.  The remainder of this month and October, we’ll focus on the topics that surround this movie for our Sunday and Wednesday nights. Some of the discussion topics are:

Please continue to pray for the victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. As our September service project, we are partnering with our congregation to create UMCOR cleaning kit buckets. Students and volunteers will work together both nights to fill these buckets.

As I wrap up this e-mail, I ask that you continue to pray for our young adults (current & future). Our first gathering will be at Waffle House on 9/26 at 7:30 PM. Please be in prayer for us as we start ministry in the best way- organically, authentically, and sharing a meal around an open table.

I’m thankful for all of you and what student ministry was, is, and will become. Have a wonderful week!

Grace and Peace,
