It is also a time of preparation for the Thanksgiving season. We have so much to be thankful for and I am thankful for our church home. We are truly blessed to be in such an amazing family. Important Children’s Information

  Grandparent's Day is this Sunday, September 10th! The children will be singing at both services, handing out special gifts and you will hear from several of our children as they tell us special stories about their Grandparents! Spread the Word Children's Choir Kickoff- (K - 5th Grades), Sunday, September 10th in the Education building. This is a great opportunity for your children to sing, act and learn more about the Christmas Story.   Please note a time change for Sunday, September 10th! We will meet from 4:00 - 6:00 so parents can view a movie in preparation for our 5 week Preaching and Bible Study Series based on The Shack. ...

Thanks for Clipping

The Children's Department along with the Preschool are raising money to update our playground equipment. By clipping Box Tops and bringing those in, you will be helping raise funds to replace our picnic table and benches. Each Box Top is worth 10 cents...if turned in by October 1st their value will double to 20 cents! There will be bright colored boxes placed throughout the church for your Box Top donations. Backpack Blessing

It seems that Summer has flown by as school is scheduled to start on August 7th.  As school begins so does our regular activities. These are important dates to keep in mind... Popcorn and a Movie - Wednesday, July 26, 6:00 - 8:00 pm Backpack Blessing - Sunday, August 6 at the 8:45 and 11:00 services. Please bring school backpacks, computer bags, lunch bags or anything you carry to school or work. Wonderful Wednesdays - Our programming will begin Wednesday, August 23 at 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Children’s Activities for July

Children pre-school to 5th grade don't miss our Three Day Music and Acting Camp! There will be music, dance, arts & crafts, good food and much more! Sunday, July 16, 3:30 -5:30 pm , Monday, July 17, 6:00 - 7:30 pm,  Tuesday, July 18, 6:00 - 7:30 pm                               Also, our Popcorn and a Movie Night will be Wednesday, July 26, 6:00 - 8:00 pm I can't wait to see everyone there! Attention Hero Central Crew Leader Volunteers

There will be a brief (15 minute) meeting in the chapel for all crew leaders at 9:45 am this Sunday. We will be going over important information that you will need. Hero Central Vacation Bible School

VBS online registration for Hero Central is now open

All children, pre-school – 5th grade are invited to join us on a journey. We will go on amazing adventures alongside some of our favorite Bible heroes and will learn the qualities needed to make us heroic in God’s eyes! We will have Bible stories, music, crafts, outside games, snacks, science experiments and much more. Let’s all take a leap of faith to discover our strength in God and to give us courage in our faith to live His truth each day! VBS is June 19 - 23 from 6:30PM - 8:30PM. God’s Not Dead Children’s Program

  Please join us on Sunday, May 7th during the 11 o'clock service as our Children's Spread the Word Choir perform "God's Not Dead". This is a musical for all ages with a wonderful message about how God never leaves us and is always there, good times or bad.

Easter Eggstravangaza

  Bethesda UMC Presents: The Best Easter Eggstravangaza Ever! Saturday, April 15 from 2 to 4pm  There will be an Easter Egg Hunt hosted by the Easter Bunny himself! We will have and egg toss, a rubber chicken toss, a bounce house, face painting, crafts, and games and let’s not forget popcorn, cotton candy and more! Come one come all, bring your family and your friends!  

Wednesday Night Children’s Programming Starting August 17th, 6:30-7:30 –How to Be a Hero

Children will be learning about Biblical hero's as well as learning about how to become a hero.  This is an 8 week series ending with each child receiving their own special super hero cape! Can't wait to see you there!
