Bethesda’s Funniest Videos – January 10th is our kick-off for Wednesday Night Dinner and Programs. This year’s theme is “Bethesda’s Funniest Videos”. We need your help in gathering these. If you have any short (1-2 minutes long) videos of family members, church members or friends, please e-mail them to the church office. November is all about giving thanks. One way Bethesda UMC is giving thanks is by giving our support to Village of Hope in their Christian outreach ministry to the homeless in our community. We will be collecting food items that will be delivered to Village of Hope the week of Thanksgiving. Items needed: Canned meats, canned fruit and canned pasta WITH pop tops. Also needed are microwave meals. Drop off boxes will be at the entrances of the Fellowship Hall, Sanctuary and Chapel
On Sunday, October 29 we hosted our own Bethesda Fall Festival. What a great time - in spite of the cold and wind! Thank you to all who volunteered your time, your gifts and your love of Christ and Bethesda UMC. We are a wonderful beacon of love on this hill!

UMW is creating a 2017 Advent Devotional for Advent and beyond. We need your devotions so we can include them in this booklet. Your devotion will make a difference in someone's day as they read and pray throughout 2017 Advent and beyond. A short personal writing, favorite scripture, or a poem/song - whatever you choose. United Methodist Women's Agape Circle is gathering devotions for an Advent and Go Forth Daily Devotional booklet for each family at Bethesda. We need 35+ short devotions for the booklet. Bethesda celebrates the appointment of Rev. Dr. Mike Long as the District Superintendent of the Atlanta-Emory District of the United Methodist church.
Members and Friends of Bethesda: You are invited to attend the installation service for our new District Superintendent, the Rev. Dr. Mike Long. The service will be August 6, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Sanctuary of Lawrenceville First UMC, 395 W Crogan St, Lawrenceville, GA 30046 .
On July 30th Fifth Sunday Worship in Song - combined service at 10:30 in the Sanctuary. The Praise Team, the Chancel Choir, and the children's choir be singing some of your favorite songs, and Miles will be leading some of your favorite hymns. DESSERT BEFORE LUNCH! That's right! Immediately following Worship in Song service. Everyone is invited to the Fellowship Hall! Everyone loves ice cream and this is the best time of year to enjoy it with friends.
